Careers Cannabis provides an online job search engine and recruitment portal that allows applicants to explore career opportunities in the cannabis industry by searching jobs posted on the job search engine, applying to jobs and connecting with potential employers through the recruitment portal (collectively, the “Platform”).

How we collect and use personal information through the Platform.
Job Search Engine: When you apply to a job posted on our job search engine, your application is submitted directly to the company you are applying to and any third-party service providers used by such company to process your application. We do not have control over the manner in which such companies and their service providers will treat your personal information.
Creating a Profile: To access our recruitment portal, you must create an account by completing a profile. When you create an account, we may collect your first and last name, phone number, address, email address, a password that you create, resume, employment history, profile photo, recruitment-related videos, links to your social media accounts, description of your goals and mission/vision, survey results about your job preferences, including in the form of a testing score, licensing and certification information, , and other similar employment-related materials. We use this information to administer your account and enable you to apply to jobs, connect with potential employers, and track the status of your applications. With your consent, we may also use your profile information, including previous job applications and completed surveys about your job preferences to contact you about opportunities that may arise in the future and to make employment and career recommendations.
We strongly recommend that you do not disclose your account password to anyone. We will never ask you for your password in any unsolicited communication (such as letters, phone calls or email messages). If you become aware of any unauthorized access to or use of your account, you are required to notify us immediately. Applying for a Job: If you apply to a job using our recruitment portal, certain personal information that is requested by the potential employer will be used to complete the job application from the information you uploaded to your profile (such as your contact information, resume, licensing and certification information, and employment history). You may also be required to provide additional information or responses to screening questions that are requested by the potential employer. With your consent, we may also use your personal information to facilitate background checks on your behalf as part of the application process to verify your identity or validate your education using third-party service providers.

If your job application is selected by the potential employer for further consideration of your candidacy, your personal information will be treated in accordance with the potential employer’s privacy policies and practices.
